Meet Our Team

Owner

Tom and his wife, Sue, have owned Action Auto Repair since 1996.  Originally from a small town in Northern Illinois, his interest in cars started very young when he started taking them apart and putting them back together.  After graduating from High School, he took a job in California as an auto parts representative which eventually brought him to Arizona.  He and Sue have 2 kids – a son, Zach, a self employed personal trainer, and a daughter, Dakoa, an accomplished dancer.  Tom loves fishing and tries to do as much as possible.  A quiet, lakefront cabin in the woods is his perfect get away spot.  And if he can get there via his motorcycle, what could be better?

Customer Service Manager

Joe is the guy you will likely speak to when calling or stopping in to Action Auto Repair.  He is our Office Manager and Main Customer Service Representative and he is more than happy to explain our services and answer your questions.  He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.  Born and raised in Southern California, he moved to Arizona in 1995 looking for a change of pace.  He now lives in North Peoria with his wife, Jan, and their Olde English Bulldog, Bentley.  Like Tom, he enjoys fishing.  His favorite spot to fish is Roosevelt Lake.  Joe loves to vacation in Hawaii – he’s been there 6 times!  His dream is to someday retire there.

Master Technician

Jose is practically a fixture here at Action Auto Repair.  He has been a technician here for over 20 years.  He lives with his wife, Martha, their 2 kids, Maria and Daniel, a Chihuahua named Chewy, and 2 cats (who will remain nameless for their protection!).  Jose is a techy and loves working on computers.  He’s our go to guy whenever we have a computer problem in the office.  What’s his absolute favorite place to be?  Fry’s Electronics, of course!

Shuttle Driver

When Gene is in town, he is happy to come in and drive our customers to and from home or work. Otherwise, he travels the country in his motorhome. When he travels, he makes sure to keep us posted so that we can post his location on our map!
